Lifestyle | Body and Spirit: Find Calm In The Crazy (via GalaDarling)

I've occasionally re-posted from Gala Darling's fabulous blog...
but today's post just struck a chord of superb!
I agree with every single one of these suggestions (you may recognize several
of them from previous posts of mine) but they are done in the
inimitable style of the ever charming, magically delightful and
positively delicious Gala Darling...who recently became
Mrs. Gala Darling (Congrats, Gala & Mike!)

and now, without further ado...I present to you

There’s no sense in dancing around the issue:
sometimes life is 100% batshit crazy! Maybe you’ve
taken on too many projects, maybe your nutty family
has come to stay, or maybe your life just feels like it is in an uproar
every hour of every day. When you get to that point
where all you want to do is stay in bed for a week,
escape to the desert or perhaps become a nun, it’s time to act!
It’s time to improve your situation. We are always in control of our own lives,
& even when it feels like someone else is calling the shots, we are able to
CHOOSE how we respond to every situation. You can CHOOSE to get mad,
or you can choose to let it go, & keep it flowin’! Trust!
Here are some other ways to keep balanced when the road feels rocky.

  1. A very interesting post. I definitely take on too many projects, and it can be stressful at times. But it's me. I guess in some way I enjoy being busy. But too many projects means too many deadlines. I read "all the great suggestions" of Gala Darling: Very well done; lots of Wikipedia links; nice photos of an interesting woman.

  2. I like the idea of doing nothing.... balancing of course but there is something quite refreshing in stepping back.... slowly this has allowed me to freely go back and forth as I please without any regrets!
