Simple Pleasures: Harvesting & Giving Thanks

I'm sharing from a wonderful newsletter/blog that I subscribe
to called The Local Rose., beautifully written by Shiva Rose.
(Thanks to Mariel Hemingway for putting me to her wonderful site)

Today's post is from the 'Nourish' section of The Local Rose,
which, to me, seemed somehow fitting for this time of year.

In it is an interview with Chef Pamela Salzman,
who shares her recipe for her  visually stunning
as well as tasty Butternut Squash Salad with
Pomegranate and Pumpkin Seeds.
Also, be sure to check out  her 'Six Pantry Swaps' and use it as a guide
towards creating a happier, healthier kitchen.

For man, autumn is a time of harvest, of gathering together.
For nature, it is a time of sowing, of scattering abroad.
~Edwin Way Teale

Here's to harvesting all the very best out of life,
and to sowing seeds for more beauty, happiness and abundance,
so that all may experience a bounty of goodness in the year ahead.

    Stephanie,
What a wonderful way to wish your followers all the best. Much better than Hallmark card greetings. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
