I need to follow the advice of the Hopi. Sometimes, when I go outside and the sun is shining and the sky is clear and the air is fresh, I turn my face upwards and soak in the wonder of it all and tell myself what a beautiful day it is and how lucky I am to be able to enjoy it with all my senses.
ReplyDelete@MikeB- ...sounds to me like you already are!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, Mike, as it brings to mind when we first "met" though Savira's blog (which I would include here- but is is now eneded) ... and how upset and frustrated you seemed, and how much we were all struggling with changes and challenges facing us. But you worked hard to change that. And now- it's so apparent you have found your way. You are living well, and living beautifully, from you heart. Thank you for your beautiful comment.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, MikeB, and Thanks for sharing your journey. and also for shring with us how 'letting go' turned out to be your path to happiness!
ReplyDeleteI re-read my 5-9 comment today, and I noticed two typos. But you know what, it's "good enough" since my thoughts got through.
