Eco Fashion: A Growing Presence In Hollywood From Top Designers

Thanks to the efforts of Livia Firth and
her 'Green Carpet Challenge', more top
designers are creating stunning Red Carpet Fashions
using sustainable fabrics and practices.
Which means more eco fashion
will start showing up on more starlets.

to create a dress for her—and tux for hubby Colin—
from a unique fabric made entirely with recycled bottles.
She paired the ensemble with vintage diamond earrings,
a conflict-free diamond ring and shoes that
she—gasp—wore to last year’s Oscars."

more sustainable designs from the likes of
designers Tom Ford, Gucci, Chanel,
Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Paul Smith,
Valentino, Roger Vivier, Alberta Ferretti,
and Ermenegildo Zegna."

"Armani agreed to design the gown saying 'Her
enthusiasm and dedication to this cause have been very inspiring for me.'

Awareness for the environment is a topic that’s
very important for us all: we cannot avoid it.”
